Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.”


PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
Welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Chi Epsilon Omega Chapter, located in East Lansing, Michigan. Chartered on October 20, 2002, Chi Epsilon Omega continues to be a pillar in the community.
I am honored to serve as the president of this intergenerational chapter, comprised of 86 educated women from diverse backgrounds. We share a deep love for our sorority which is shown in our service to the Greater East Lansing community in the delivery of programs and educational activities that fulfill our mission.
We are excited to support and connect with the community via the 2022-2026 SOAR initiatives under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed. Our International Program includes six program initiatives that are designed to further our mission.
Our Foundation Initiative is Strengthen Our Sisterhood.
